2014 BMW M4 Coupe Arrives as Free Download for Gran Turismo 6
While the recently-unveiled 2014 BMW M4 Coupé isn’t available for purchase yet in the real-world — you’ll have to wait until sometime in the Spring of 2014 for that — it is now available as a free download for Polyphony Digital’s Gran Turismo 6 for the PlayStation 3. I’ve posted a screengrab of the car here, and you’ll find video of the car in action at the end of this post.

According to a post by SCEA Product Manager Ken Chan over at the official PlayStation blog, the BMW M4 Coupé isn’t the only benefit that GT6-using Bimmer fans can look forward to:
“As a celebration of this collaboration between BMW and Gran Turismo 6, a unique seasonal event featuring the BMW M4 Coupé is available to all on GT6 for two weeks, from today until December 26th, 2013. The BMW M4 Coupé Superlap challenge will take place on the Nürburgring Grand Prix circuit, and gives players the opportunity to drive the car to complete the event…”
The new 2014 BMW M4 Coupé is part of BMW’s new approach to their storied M-series cars. The 2014 BMW M3 4-door sedan will retain the M3 moniker, while the coupe is christened the M4 and given a few more points of differentiation from its quattro-doored sibling. Both the new M3 and M4 will get a twin-turbocharged V6 power-plant rated at around 420HP or so.
