Who doesn’t love classic cars? Seems everybody does and hollywood has jumped on the bandwagon too. You see them in just about every movie and TV show now.

Wow! The 1956 Volvo 444 model K is a car I wouldn’t mind trading “back” to. I own and enjoy driving two 1959 Volvo PV 544 cars. Both are in decent mechanical condition, although one is a trailer queen and the other shows all 50 years of its age. I am smitten by the dash, steering wheel, split windows and the front grill of this particular model. Alas, the 444’s is not much more than a parade car due to it’s anemic engine. It would be truly cool to have an upscale drive train (say a BMW 2.5 straight 6) and have the exterior bone stock.

Anybody out there know of a chassis thta you can easily bolt a 544 or 444 body onto and make the ultimate sleeper with the best of both worlds? (Looks and performance).

Anybody want to trade a 544 for a 444 with a sound undercarriage?
